Mike Stocker / NextClick Media / VP of BizDev

Mike is NextClicks’s Vice President of Business Development and dedicates his time across sales and media to drive the company’s revenue. In the competitive landscape of media buying his charter is to ensure we get the right traffic for clients to optimize their monetization.

Starting his media career in 1997 Mike has worked at many premiere internet companies including RightMedia where he was Director working on bringing in high quality display traffic into their world-class exchange marketplace. Previous to RightMedia Mike was media buyer for NetBlue responsible for a $48 million dollar media spend. Other positions include roles at Friendfinder, gotomypc.com and quinstreet in various business development and media roles.Mike attributes his success to his grandparents who raised him. He specifically credits his Grandfather, who was an entrepreneurial businessman, who taught mike the values of good customer service and having the will to make things work.

Mike attended UC Santa Barbara and graduated with a BA in History.

In His Own Words
I was fortunate to be raised by my grandparents, and my grandfather was always an inspiration for me. My grandfather was an entrepreneur and businessman. He taught me values that I still have today which include strong customer service and a will to make things work. I attended both the Harker School in San Jose and Hawaii Prep Academy in Hawaii and had access to high technology and the early years of what we now recognize as the Internet.

Since about 1997, I’ve been working for a handful of Internet marketing companies in various business development, media buying and ad sales roles. The one overarching theme that all these companies had was the concept of “performance marketing”- getting paid to deliver high quality leads or customers to clients. This experience has led me to help start NextClick Media which is focused on delivering high quality customers to advertisers and offering services and tools for increasing monetization. Buying media has become increasingly competitive and success or failure can be determined by how well a company monetizes their traffic-

NextClick aim to be the preeminent provider of monetization services for companies in the e-commerce, lead-gen and incentive marketing verticals.Before NextClick, I was a Director at RightMedia tasked with bringing high quality display traffic into their world-class exchange marketplace. I was also with Netblue for two years as a Sr. Media Buyer with an ad budget of $48 million/year. Prior to Netblue I was a Media Buyer/Marketing Manager for FriendFinder and in Business Development roles at Quinstreet and Gotomypc.com.
