Who do you think had the most influence on your life and why? My father- he was a tremendous role model, an innovative business man and an inspiring dad. He taught me many of the key lessons of my life, instilled in me a great respect for people, a strong family bond and a fierce competitive spirit.
The aforementioned person, is their influence used/applied at NextInternet? Everyday, I try to focus on one of the key business lessons that I learned from my father: ” It is important to be able to identify the problems, but it is far more valuable to be able to identify the solutions”. Being able to analyze challenges and to find opportunities is something that I try to do everyday.
What part of your upbringing or life experiences led you to working at a Start-up? Getting my hands “dirty” and doing the hard work that needs to be done is something I learned early on in my life. That is one of the most important things at a start up. A start up gives you the opportunity to have a lot more impact on the business everyday and is a lot more exciting than a larger company, but in order to be successful everyone has to do some “heavy lifting”.
