Next Internet is seeking a full-time Web Developer who will work on the implementation of a complex, high availability, and high volume web-based application. The right candidate will work closely with a cross functional team (UI Design, Engineering, and Product Management), using UI and functional specs/prototypes as input, and will generate code to implement these designs.

Responsibilities:

- Develop websites using hand-coded HTML (DHTML, JSP, PHP, etc.) using CSS with strict adherence to W3C standards
- Convert specifications and design assets into HTML ad units, websites, and jump pages
- Implementation of JavaScript where needed to enhance websites
- Alter creative designs in Photoshop and/or Image Ready (content and graphic changes) as part of HTML and graphic production process
- Integrate clean, lean, well commented front-end work with various server side publishing technologies and content management systems
- Build out HTML emails
- Extensive QA including cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility

Qualifications:
- 2+ Years of hard-coding HTML experience.
- Experience in the following areas: PHP, Java Script, HTML, AJAX, CSS
- Familiarity with Linux, Apache, MySQL
- Experience in Adobe Photoshop
- Knowledge of cross-browser portability problems and solutions
- Technical understanding of how Web servers and browsers work
- Excellent communication skills
- BS in CS or equivalent
- Previous start-up experience
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Able to commute to Mountain View, CA
